Hoping this review finds you well and makes your Monday a little bit better. Going to be taking a dive into a nice little spot known as Hattricks.
I have never been to a bar in Ireland, so I cannot say whether or not this replicates an Irish bar but compared to all other bars that claim to be Irish, this one is on the top of my list. Walking in, you are drawn to the décor of the bar. The walls are lined with flags, signs, and sports memorabilia from the local sports teams. There is seating at the bar, as well as high tops and low tops for you to choose from. The tables are spaced out providing a nice open atmosphere. Whether you sit at the bar or table, be ready to get a drink quick as the service here is phenomenal. Very friendly staff that is fun to converse with while providing exceptional service. I tend to find myself drinking way more beers here than at other bars because of how quickly they serve them. And that is zero issue because the beers are cheap. And it is not just beers that are cheap. It is all their drinks. They have a killer happy hour that I really need to get to more. May have to make it my New Years resolution to stop in more to take advantage of it. They also do bottomless mimosas on Saturday and Sunday. Offering this on Saturday is a game changer. I have seen many bars only offer it on Sunday, which I despise. Nothing worse than getting tanked on a Sunday knowing you are going to be hungover at work on Monday.
Whether you are wanting to watch a game, or just looking for a place to go to drink. This is the spot to be. One of my favorite memories was watching the US Men’s game against England. I showed up extremely hungover from a work Christmas party the previous night. I knew the hair of the dog was going to be the only thing capable of curing me. The server must have sensed this as well, as she easily convinced me I needed a breakfast shot to start the day. And that shot was exactly what I needed. After that and a few beers, I was finally starting to feel like myself again and was ready to see the US kick some British ass. The whole bar was electric. The place was packed and full of energy. There is something special about seeing a bar bring everyone together. Everyone was interacting with one another, contributing to an impressive atmosphere. It was like everyone had known each other for years. All of a sudden, these random strangers you just met feel like your friends you hang out with every weekend. Hattricks attracts an awesome crowd of people, which makes going there so much fun. And it is not just like this on a game day. I have gone in multiple times on random nights and have had a blast. It is reasons like that that keep me wanting to go back. If you are in the area and looking for a spot to catch a game, or even just drink for the night, I cannot recommend Hattricks more than enough. A great atmosphere and cheap drinks. What is not to love about that!
Décor: Flags, posters, neon signs. Exactly the décor you would expect to see in a bar like this. They do have jerseys pinned to the ceiling which was something I had never seen before which I thought was really cool. They also have a Jameson chandelier which is very fitting for an Irish bar.
Service: Phenomenal service. Quick with drinks and very personable staff.
Atmosphere: Great atmosphere. Awesome spot for a game or for a night (or day) out. Brings in a great crowd that makes going to the bar fun. You could easily go in by yourself and leave with five new friends. It is a vibe I wish more bars could create.
Price: Very affordable. Great deals and a banging happy hour. Do not have to worry about breaking the bank if you choose this bar for a night out.
Cleanliness: No concerns. Clean and well kept up.
Bonus Points: No bonus points.
