This is a rare bar for me. I have driven past it numerous times when visiting the area and I have actually been in the bar. My first time going was very rushed as seating was very scarce. This time around I got to go again for a proper visit and I fell in love with this bar. If I was a local, this would be one of my main spots. We sat next to so many people that frequent the bar regularly including the original #73, if you know, you know.

The name of the bar truly says it all. Probably the most accurate bar name I have run across. This bar is tight in the inside or the “quarters are close” I mean seriously you are looking at 20 seat tops, I’d guess. This may be on the high side as well. 

This bar truly is a locals spot, the type of bar you come to 10 minutes after opening and good luck getting a seat. The patrons are more than content just camping out all day at this pub. While this is of course what you want to see in the bar, my favorite part by far and away was decor. Holy hell was the decor magnificent. When I say every inch of the walls were covered, I literally mean that. Everywhere you looked you saw a sign cooler than the last. It was a mix of bar memorabilia and just quirky weird shit. From the pelican mailbox outside the joint to the Busch guitar in the inside, this place had some cool stuff. My two personal favorite items though were the mermaid hanging from the ceiling and the Budweiser airplane that was custom made. I’ll upload a pic of both. Beyond the decor the servers were just simply the best. So kind, very entertaining, just all around a good experience. 

I understand why this is a beloved bar in the area. It has everything one could want. Cheap beer, nice people, great decor, and rich history. This 600sqft shoebox has been around for close to 100 years and under the current name for about the last 40, cheers to them being here for many more. 

Price: Honest to god, do not remember but it was not pricey. 

Decor: Every single inch was full 

Service: A+ service, just what you want to see from bartenders 

Atmosphere:  Place was packed from opening and I bet it stays like that on most Fridays.

High Life Bottle?: Did not see it.
