Here is the start of mini reviews, not going to write books anymore as I know the main traction comes from Instagram. Finback Alehouse truly caught me by surprise. I went to the bar before dinner and I was not expecting much at all. I simply just wanted to grab a beer and get dinner. One beer turned into three as I had the best Guinness pour across the northeast. I had a bunch in Boston, they were good, but not to this level. Other than Emmet’s in Boston (which was closed when I was in town) this was the next best pour I’ve had. 

Beyond the Guinness pour this bar had some character. It was retro from the sense that the bar was a massive wooden oval bar, straight from the 80s. We just don’t see this craftsmanship anymore. I can promise you I am one to appreciate a good bar top. The bar also had some nice tin ceilings, something we do not see that often during our bar journey. The interesting part of all this was the garage door that opened up. This is a newer trendy bar feature, but added a nice element for the warm sunny days. 

This bar is sandwiched between some grade A tourist gift shops, but I promise you it’s a good spot. $9 for a 20oz Guinness is fairly standard. For the quality of the pour it is worth every single penny. 

Price: $9 Guinness for a proper 20 ounce pint. Not a bad price for a soldi pour

Decor: Worst category, decor was very meh

Service: Great service, dude behind the bar was a character for sure. Made a few awesome cocktails and had a nice Guinness pour.

Atmosphere: Awesome atmosphere, tourists and locals both enjoying the place. Wonderful atmosphere.
